This is me. I have glasses and messy hair. I'm finding life is endlessly complicated yet infinitely simple. I used to be a painter. Of houses, not art. Unless you consider houses art. I have a B.S. in bible and music. I did my internship with ethnomusicologists in Canada where in my free time I took my new (and first) camera and took pictures of what I saw and so far I haven't stopped. I've concluded that poetry is the natural language of the world and best communicates reality. Photographs can be poetic. Life is poetic. Sometimes tragically so.

miss you danny! what camera was your first? same one you used for your sel fprotrait taken there?? :)
Whitney! How's California? My first camera was a Canon powershot A620. A work horse point and shot I got for 200 bucks. An amazing little camera actually. The photo to the right of the church and the tree was taken with it. If you backtrack on my flickr you will find more. This self portrait was taken with my canon 40d and a 50mm f/1.4
CA is great! very warm and sunny... all of the time. haha. hope all is well.
